Paris Champagne Tour Prices, and What Each Fare Includes
Many people search for Paris Champagne tickets and find there is no gate. What you buy is a day: a seat or a car, the cellar visits, and sometimes lunch. Fares run from $92 for a Seine cruise to $1,229 per person for a private day with a Michelin lunch. This guide explains what sits inside each fare, and what you pay on top.
What does a champagne tour from Paris cost?
A seat on a shared day from Paris costs $268 to $443 per person. A day that starts at Reims station costs $152 to $286, plus your train. A private day costs $550 to $1,229 per person, or $1,893 for one car of up to seven.
On the Seine in Paris, the sommelier's tasting cruise costs $92 per person and the private boat $467 for up to four. These are the lowest starting fares; your date and your party set the exact price.
Why is there no ticket?
Because Champagne is a region, not a site. There is no gate at the vineyards, and Reims Cathedral is free. You pay each house for its cellar visit and tasting: from €20 at Nicolas Feuillatte to €90 at Ruinart, on their own sites.
A tour fare either carries those visits or leaves them to you. On almost every day, the visits are paid. Best of France and Private Trip leave them out, and you pay each house on the spot.
What is in the cheapest fares?
From Paris, Go Go Tours' hotel-pickup day starts at $268. It includes Reims Cathedral, a prestigious house and a family winery, but not lunch, and the group can reach 25. Blue Fox, at $269, gives you six tastings at Nicolas Feuillatte and a family winery, with lunch yours.
At $275, the all-inclusive minivan day adds breakfast and lunch and caps the group at seven. In Reims, the Reims afternoon costs $152 for two family wineries and six glasses, with the train on you.
Which fares include lunch?
From Paris: the minivan day at $275, My Winedays at $372 and $380, and the Go Go Tours lunch days at $400 and $408. From Reims: Sparkling Tour at $280 and France Intense at $286.
Among the private days, lunch is in the fare with Sparkling Tour at $579, Withlocals at $986 and My Winedays at $1,070 and $1,229. France Intense and the train day sell it as an option. On a day without lunch, a meal in Épernay or Reims is yours to pay.
Which fares leave the tasting fees to you?
Best of France and Private Trip. Best of France ($714 per person) pays the car and the driver-guide, and you pay each house's entrance and tasting fee on the day. It is also non-refundable. Private Trip ($1,893 per car) visits Taittinger or Pommery and then G.H. Martel or Telmont, with the fees extra.
Budget with the houses' own prices: Pommery €48, Veuve Clicquot €36, Mumm €30, and Taittinger's price from its own site. Price each visit as you would book it direct.
What does a private day cost for two, four or six?
For the whole-car fare the sums are simple. Private Trip's $1,893 works out at about $946 each for two, $473 for four and $315 for six, with the house fees on top.
Most private days price per person instead. At the starting fare, two travellers on Galaxytour's Moët & Chandon day pay about $1,100, and two on its two-house day about $1,393. The booking page shows the total for your exact party.
| Party | Private Trip, per car | Each, before house fees |
|---|---|---|
| 2 travellers | $1,893 | $946 |
| 3 travellers | $1,893 | $631 |
| 4 travellers | $1,893 | $473 |
| 5 travellers | $1,893 | $378 |
| 6 travellers | $1,893 | $315 |
| 7 travellers | $1,893 | $270 |
What does a Seine champagne cruise cost?
Ô Chateau's cruise costs $92 per person for about 75 minutes and three grower champagnes poured by a sommelier. You can add a bottle of Premier Cru to take away, one per booking.
The private boat costs $467 for up to four: about $116 each for four, or $233 each for two, with a bottle of French champagne on board. Neither cruise serves food. The champagne boat tour paris page compares the two.
What else will you pay for?
- Your train, on every day that starts in Reims.
- Lunch, where the fare leaves it out, and drinks beyond what is poured.
- Tips, which most listings leave out of the fare.
- Bottles, if you buy at the houses.
- A train or taxi home, if your day ends away from where it began: Wine Tours Paris finishes on the Avenue de Champagne in Épernay.
- The cathedral towers, €9 for a guided visit, free under 18.
What do children and teenagers pay?
Tours price each age band on the booking page, and some set a minimum age. Sparkling Tour takes adults only, France Intense starts at 12 and Blue Fox at 7. Go Go Tours pours grape juice for under-18s.
If you book the houses yourself, several charge less for younger visitors. Lanson charges €20 for ages 13 to 17, €15 for 7 to 12, and nothing under 7. Ruinart charges €50 for ages 7 to 17, and Mercier €12 for ages 10 to 17. The cathedral towers are free under 18.
What if your plans change?
Every tour here except Best of France's private day refunds in full if you cancel at least 24 hours before the start. Best of France's fare is non-refundable, so book it only when your date is certain.
Some shared days also need a minimum number of travellers. My Winedays runs with at least four, and the Reims afternoon with two. If a date falls short, the operator offers another date, another tour or a full refund.

For the most producers from Paris, My Winedays pours eight or more tastings and includes lunch at $372. For everything paid in one fare, the minivan day at $275 includes breakfast, lunch and its tastings.
For a group of six or seven, price a private car. Private Trip at seven is about $270 each before fees, close to the minivan day's $275 a seat. Every day here except Best of France's refunds in full up to 24 hours before.
